Pretty excellent work!

Definitely among the top animations on this site, despite the apparent lack of real story.

My only big (ish) issue with it would be the temple, which I'm guessing is a bitmap image, as opposed to a vector image? It seems a bit clunky, and apart from that, I would consider this animation and style to be comparible with, oh, Samurai Jack, which I would consider pretty good.

You know what?

After watching Saturday Morning Watchmen AND this, I have deemed you a, um, cool guy. Yeah. That's the one.

Because I'd watched so many of your shorts (what, like, 3?) where it was just something happening, and suddenly, out of nowhere - random violence.

But hey, now I've seen more of your stuff, and I can safely say this. You're a very, very good animator, and can even come up with some humourus stuff that doesn't involve random violence as a source of free laughs.
And while sexual innuendo jokes aren't that much higher on the chain, at least you're giving it some variety =P

All of that said, haha, loved it.

and I totally beg to differ towards "flash is wicked glitchy" - it's like a lion! They can be tamed, but if you don't know how they will eat you for food.

Flash can sometimes be tamed, but there are times where it just wants to do what it wants. Despite this, I'm happy you liked the toon :)

I was hoping for some commander keen action, but I can see where you're coming from, as far as inspiration goes, at least.

Re-review!

As a madness, it was well done... no storyline, really. Just many various killings in different, well animated ways.

I 5'd it, but 9/10 for the penis guy.
I dunno... he didn't do it for me (and, it seems, for others as well)

Loved it overall though, and I liked the ending. gj

I enjoy the irony

that you have likely used maybe forty or so tweens to construct this animation =P
of course, the difference between yourself and that animator, is that you mix in frame by frame animation (and loops inside movie clips/graphics, that you motion tween with), hooray!

I like your stuffs, I have decided. I am finally going to add you to my favourite artists list - if I haven't already.

While there is nothing wrong with this - I don't really feel that last something special, that gives it a ten... and it's so short, I'd feel like I'm cheating other people =P

Pretty excellent, small things aside

The animation was a little clunky at times, and the drawings weren't full on quality, but the message was clearly delivered.

The story as a whole was pretty great; it was sad and inspirational.

My only issue with it (and I'll admit it is a bit anal) is the scaling text being choppy.

As a whole, though, very well done.

A friend of mine's father was diagnosed with leukemia, he was told he had two weeks to live. Just enough time, I suppose, to get all of your stuff sorted out for when you die - your will and such.

He decided he wasn't ready to go just yet - so he went into chemotherapy. He would he in intensive care for a two weeks, and be out and about for six weeks. He continued this way for six months, visiting family members he hadn't in a long time, things like that... before he finally died.

I like to think this story is similar to yours.
