freaking amazing

the absurd amount of detail and amount of cool ideas, all mixed in with the basics of water evaporation -> rain water cycle was great.

I particularly liked the piping leading to the chick's body - lots of great details there. Great job!

I do remember watching this one a while back... possibly on the day you uploaded it?
Yes, you can do good story work away from violence, so I'll accept that Captain Violence is just a parody of ridiculous superhero and move on from critiquing your story-writing abilities, haha.

Pretty well done, but it's clear your animation has come a long way from back here.

The challenge was to try an make a decent series of cartoons without taking the easy way out (video-game references, swearing...etc...) and to try and practice writing stories and see what I could do in Flash. This must be about 2 years old now... doesn't time fly?

Thankfully, I have improved a little since then.

Pretty great

I enjoyed the story you had there, simple zombie story, new breeds, getting sleep... and the animation quality itself was at *least* above par to the Newgrounds average.

Good work on the animation and holding off until Halloween.

Totally should have adjusted the voice to be a little louder, though... my bad.

Great production quality, silly idea

But hey, here on Newgrounds, it's everything by everyone.

But I recommend doing what our TAFE Animation teachers told us to do - a simple, original story that isn't about violence or swearing.

Sounds simple enough, no?

Anyway, this whole stupid hero concept has been done before (off the top of my head "Burnt Face Man" comes to mind), but the social commentary of heroes using violence isn't lost on me.

tl;dr, good animation, music, voices, and even some good parody-style humour (The Follicator placing himself onto the ground, but still creating a shockwave) - just a silly and overused idea that violence = funny, or something, in cartoons.

I understand that you are going to judge me based on what you've seen here, but before this I had made 3 episodes of "Subordinate Droids" which didn't feature any swearing or OTT violence - just "suitable for all" cartoon shenanigans. Maybe you'd prefer them to this?

and get some voice actors to do the singing for you, I suppose, if that's your best effort (no real offence meant - but some people specialise in this work, and could really make your humour shine here)

Hey there, thank you for taking the time to review. I am actualy a voice actor, and I do sing, but I dont consider any of vegeta's lines "singing" its rap, which basicaly means talking to a beat. The Only real singing would be Nappa, but, Listening to his voice, he isnt ment to sound like he has a professional singing career XD . Its gruff, harsh and funny sounding! This is all deliberate... The quality on the other hand, as in mixing and stuff, I did my best but I dont do mixing for a living XD

and I totally beg to differ towards "flash is wicked glitchy" - it's like a lion! They can be tamed, but if you don't know how they will eat you for food.

Flash can sometimes be tamed, but there are times where it just wants to do what it wants. Despite this, I'm happy you liked the toon :)

I was hoping for some commander keen action, but I can see where you're coming from, as far as inspiration goes, at least.

I enjoyed it, and thought it was quite well animated. Good job.

I'd do voices.

'cause maaan, you really need them.
And voices are fun to do, and it's not much trouble for me.

You need to make some, well, better animation in here, dude.
Or rather, you need animation, period. There were maybe three or four small things in there that I liked.
-> The start with the gun, that was cool. He moved his hand, shot the werewolf in the head. Good job (even if the brains looked a bit like shit)
-> Biting her wrist, the animation was decent, and simple. It worked.
-> The opening of her eyes, and even the blurring, was well implemented.
-> Pulling the pants up. It was a simple tween, but it got the message across.

That being said, a lot of your flash was too fast, I couldn't read all of the text fast enough on that letter, and there was no sound (apart from the gun shot, and music at the credits).

I liked the first one more... you just have to, well, improve on your scenes and transitions where things happen. She just transformed from clothes to different clothes.

I am going to make a flash right now about this topic, actually.
Thank you for inspiring me on this subject.

Good luck in the future - and hopefully you will put more effort into your future work, though.
